Ciara, Dennis and Jorge – the UK is suffering from the diluvial impact of successive storms. This is the first Sunday of Lent, recalling when Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days. After 40 days of rain, Noah was cast afloat in a watery wilderness for 40 days. Floods and difficult times will happen. Disaster may be a consquence of our behaviour (building on the sand/flood plain; global warming). When the enemy comes in like a flood, if we hear and heed God we will be preserved in an ark of His design or by having built our house on the Rock.
